Maybe in some limited, haole centric, ie unable to empathize, way you are right. But really, kalakoa, your points, imo, are only valid in a vacuum.
To me, even though it is in its infancy, I appreciate the science off astronomy. Though often I imagine the telescopes are seen by some as statues commemorating modern mans dominance of the land. Not that that is why they were built, but still, they stand, and as if statues that commemorate the killing of buffalo for sport would, disgust those who lost all they knew to the men that do whatever they will without regard to what is sacred to others.
It’s simple really, but like global warming those that want to deny it will blind themselves to reality in order not to acknowledge it entirely, to the detriment of all.
