It should be noted that K Howe, the author of the paper on the filtration study published this year, that I linked, is a researcher whose son has had RLW caused HE.... so to imply that RLW is not all that bad (after all it doesn`t KILL you), is to imply getting HE is not all that bad...
& Bananaheads assessment that RLW has peaked is not back by data, also the cases reported are not the cases that have actually contracted a mild case, they are the ones that show signs of HE &/or have had a positive spinal tap
& more to consider, canine incidence of RLW infection, including HE paralysis, is very much on the rise this last year... in part because there is blood test for canine infection, something that is missing for human infection..... for humans, spinal tap is the only definitive test currently accepted....

& a sobering reminder of the extent this disease can affect ones mind, it is best to remember that some of those with HE have committed suicide over the devastating effects....
