Lilikoi and other Local Fruits...

I've used Vitamin B to help with the shock of a transplant...wonder how that would work here.

I met a local Hawaiian guy who told me that the avocados take sometimes 7 years or more to mature. Ours are about 5 years - or so we can gather. He said that if you drive 3 or 4 nails into the trunk of the avocado tree it will force it to fruit! Anyone ever heard of that? He said it's just something he's always known people to do.

I made the most amazing vinagrette...Balsamic Vinegar, EVOL, Lilikoi Juice, grated fresh Ginger, couple cloves of Garlic minced, 1/2 tsp of sugar and some Basil, salt & pepper...YUMMY. Very nice sweet, pungent mixture...

I will be waiting to hear about your Lilikoi progress Wyatt...I'm gonna start some seedlings in egg cartons with the seeds I have...I dried some out and have enough for an orchard LOL! Gonna try the Guava as well.
