There isn't any immediate danger of a strike, but pay attention to the news. If the Feds feel negotiations are at an impasse, they usually declare a 30-day cooling off period, after which a strike is possible, but not certain. U.S. labor laws restrict the circumstances under which airline workers can strike, and presidents can declare an emergency stopping them. Bush II did this in the early 2000's, I think.
