This is only assumed as corporate malfeasance by a few that need to furnish the proof to defend the allegation . Without the proof this is once again leading HPPOA into yet another lawsuit our dues will pay for on hearsay and rumors. It’s not a wonder HPP can’t move forward making improvements with the power struggle.
By the flurry of Stillwater's posts, it looks like Mermaid struck a nerve. This lawsuit has power struggle by the status quo written all over it at HPP's expense. Stillwater wants malfeasance evidence. It's right under your nose. Several cancelled Board of Directors meetings, no financial statements, cancelled Members meetings, it's obvious the resignations were coordinated with the lawsuit. None of them has explained how it was supposed to benefit HPP. The current status quo has dug themselves into a deep legal hole. The past board was the worst board of directors I've ever witnessed. It was painful to watch and blatantly clear the officers were dysfunctional, unprofessional, and couldn't get their act together. What I saw were several directors berating who I believe are the directors getting sued. I went to several board of director meetings and it was the same. No wonder they didn't accomplish anything. I never saw the guy who's suing HPP at any of the board of directors meetings. He was a ghost president! So why was he on the board of directors if he couldn't attend board meetings? No disrespect, but contrary to what Chunkster says, the board of director's obligation aren't only to maintain the roads but to provide financial statements. Did any of you get any financials in the mail from the previous treasurer or board like we used to? The striping on the main roads, what striping? I think they did that about a year ago. What a waste of money. That's malfeasance. Stillwater says everything's alright. The audit only covers the last fiscal year, not during the ongoing coup.
