As John Oliver said in that excellent segment, be especially aware of misinformation being passed around.
I know people mean well but the "Marik Protocol" has (not surprisingly) been found to be ineffective:

Also, beware of taking advice from anyone calling themselves a "naturopath". That's Greek for "not a doctor". (not really but really)
