mainland states are not turning away visitors
I assumed they were simply because "away" is somehwere you can drive to.
What's the point of keeping the airport open if visitors aren't allowed?
Since we're not going to designate a "quarantine hotel" and keep the visitors there under guard ... they would have to stay in the airport until their return flight, which means that airport would have to remain open 24x7.
you think it's OK for Hawaiians to be traveling in other states but not vice versa
Egress is allowed by law regardless of quarantine or ethnicity ... no matter what I think.
