"Hawaii’s tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to a total of 586, up two from Monday, as the statewide coronavirus-related death toll reached 12 after two men died late last night, state health officials said today.
Of all the confirmed cases in Hawaii since the start of the outbreak, 56 have required hospitalizations, with one new hospitalization reported today, health officials said.
Earlier today, health officials announced that two men who had underlying health conditions died late last night, making them the 11th and 12th coronavirus-related deaths in Hawaii. (See story below.) Seven of the deaths have been on Oahu, while five were on Maui.
Today’s statewide total includes 385 cases on Oahu, 110 in Maui County, 64 on Hawaii island, and 21 in Kauai County, according to health officials.
Both of the new cases today were in Maui County. Today was the second straight day that Oahu recorded no new COVID-19 cases."
