"An Oahu man infected with COVID-19 died Sunday evening, raising Hawaii’s coronavirus death toll to 15, state Department of Health officials announced.
The man, who was over 65-years-old and had underlying health conditions, had been in a hospital since early March, officials said.
His infection “was presumed to be community associated,” they said.
This was the 10th coronavirus-related death on Oahu. The other five deaths were on Maui.
SUNDAY:
Hawaii’s tally of coronavirus cases has risen to 606, up two from Saturday, the state Department of Health said today.
The state’s Joint COVID-19 Information Center said both of today’s two new cases are children and Hawaii residents."
