I seem to remember Randy Iwase almost being a "default" candidate when none of the so-called big names in the Democratic Party were willing to take on Lingle. I don't say that to be against him, it just seems like he was the only one brave enough to do it, and I actually admire him for it.
Why is Lingle so scary to the Democrats? Iwase is running against Bush almost as much as he is against Lingle, although he has mentioned other issues.
Hmmmmm . . . maybe I should be asking what things were like BEFORE Lingle.
A somewhat confused, but cheerful Democrat,
Jerry
