Disposing of old pump pressure tank

The ability to remove the bladder depends on the tank. Many are designed so that the bladder can be replaced but getting a replacement might be a challenge. If the in/out pipe on the bottom is attached with a bolt on flange you can probably pull it out through there. The bladder will be bigger than you expect and a bit difficult to remove but very doable. Some are not removeable and are attacked midpoint with a metal band on the inside. I don't know how to tell in advance. Probably not worth the effort unless you have a very large tank and you do intend to replace the bladder.
