Tom: "no way to print out the online form" I do not know what computer system you use, both my husband (PC) & I (Apple) were able to print, & I have actually seen thousands (yup, sometime I look at almost a thousand in one day!) of folks that have printed theirs.... by far the majority of folks coming into our clinics have printed out their forms...
"extra time I had to stand " EVERY walk-in DOH clinic has had National Guard ready & willing to assist folks with wheelchairs. If you needed assistance, did you ask for it?
Chuckster: " DOH simply turn away queue jumpers" unfortunately, that is another problem with having to do so much of this on-line... if you remember, your appointment was on-line & confirming would take more of our precious computing power & would make the system that much less efficient... This week we did ask folks & many must not have told the truth, as we had over 100 folks through before the official start of the clinic! We also added more staff & had could still have used more volunteers
" DOH have such a large list of "essential" workers" the DOH used the CDC list, we have just added some of the 1b, some are just now coming on-line, including food & ag... some folks in the CDC 1b industries did get vaccinated, but not by DOH, by the vaccinating stores/clinics have un-assisted vaccines, as is their agreement with the CDC...
Look at the percentage of vaccinated in our state, & the % healthcare workers covered by 1a, % elderly in 1b(and we added 65-75) & you start see we are very close to the actual totals that should be (& yes there have been some folks that are not honest, & some have stupidly complained & gotten caught by the DOH.... )
& for those that have noticed that we are trying to improve with each clinic, one of the big things is having a flexible volunteer force. The DOH has openings for volunteers in all of the upcoming clinics, so please volunteer if can!
