I Live on 5th between makuu and the end of the subdivision. I've been requesting DSL or cable for the past 15 years. Currently Cable is down to 19th. They have moved 5 blocks in 15 years....and at that rate you probably won't see cable on 9th for about 50 years. DSL is alittle bit more wide spread. But their requirement for installing DSL is that there has to be 30 (occupied) homes within a one mile square area before they will install.

There is a internet cafe in Pahoa next to Subway.
