Of course we know that EVs deliver their poorest performance in the cold
-------
Couple of points on that, which is generally true.
Tesla engineers developed a thermal management system that began being incorporated into the Model Y in 2020 and is now in all models. This uses a heat pump to circulate fluid and transfer heat to and from the battery packs as needed to regulate temperatures including inside the cabin. As a result, Tesla's suffer much less range drop in cold temperatures than other manufacturers do.

For the Tesla Semi, this might be interesting to you.
The Tesla Semi also uses a heat pump to circulate fluid and transfer heat to and from the battery packs as needed to regulate temperatures including inside the cabin. The battery packs in the Semi actually produce so much heat compared to the cars, that they are essentially running the system backwards from how they do it in the cars. Watch the jay leno drives tesla semi video. Info about the heat transfer system is about 2/3 of the way into it.
