They are a voluntary community association that owns properties in the Park along with some of the roads, which were deeded to them by David Watumull. Hawaiian Paradise Park Owners Association are Owners, just like every other owner in HPP. HPPOA just owns a lot more property and is allowed, because of court order, to collect road maintenance fee money (not club dues) which is supposed to be used solely to pay for the maintenance of HPP roads.

Do they pay anything for owning those properties? Do they pay property taxes? HOA fees? Road maintenance fees?
