I didn't look at any statistics just what I see in Kona. As far as immigrants, I don't think we can gauge that either since most of them are undocumented. but I just call it like I see it through my own experiences. Also, since global warming is affecting not only the islanders of Polynesia it is creating monster storms, tornadoes etc... on the mainland. People don't want to live in deep freezes or heatwaves, or flooding so they will look for other places to live.
