I cut a piece of NB jasmine from a yard I was in and it took root in my window sill without any help (rootone etc)... in about 4 weeks it was ready for the garden.

My puakinikini is still trying to grow (with rootone) because they are much harder to start (I heard) but it ha sonly been 2 weeks so far.

My Sierra Club friend said I WAS NOT TO PLANT KAHILI GINGER.... one of my favorite scents.... it is alien and invasive. So I just cut blooms when I go upcountry.
