Orchidland:
(Orchidland's) proximity to Ainaloa makes it a good target for thieves to swoop in quick and get out -- according to their friend who grew up in Ainaloa.
I just came across this thread, as I have been told that Ainaloa is a community worthy of consideration. The observation above suggests that Ainaloa is home to the criminal element, who swoop down on Orchidland.
Does Ainaloa have such a reputation in Puna? I must have driven through it on the way to Pahoa on our last visit, but I frankly don't recall seeing it.
