I had little problem with most of my credit card companies and other billings using a general delivery address. I just had to update the address later, when I got the box. But since you have a box now, maybe what you should do is to keep using that current box, and just file a forwarding address with your current PO to general delivery at your prospective PO. You may have to renew the forwarding at some point if you don't get a box soon enough. It'll add a few days to your statement delivery time if you still get them in the mail (as opposed to online).
