One of our friends who is staying with us made this suggestions - stack old tires 2 high) and fill with compost/soil/mulch to use for planting. Can hide tires with rocks (of which we have plenty).... the tires will hold a bit of moisture in the edges but not collect mosquitos because they are filled with soil. We are going to test it out startign tomorrow - collecting some old tires today...
