Regardless of what the law requires, I would NEVER sell a house here without advising the seller to expect to pay for a professional termite inspection -- even on a brand-new house. On the flip side, I would never let a buyer buy a house without a termite inspection unless they were getting a great price and were already planning to do it themselves.
