Well, I doubt this is really valid for posting this here as all it does is stir up mixed feelings...
I couldn't resist the post tho....
I agree with What's, who wants to remain anonymous...
But, I'd never buy real estate next to a school. First off there is the noise. All the screaming and yelling between breaks and lunch... Kids gotta have fun ... but it's something I'd prefer to not hear in my living room.
Next, most kids have no respect (lets not even talk about the adult). They just throw trash on the ground and if they are walking by your house have fun picking it up....
I think that whoever is trying to open up a business or school on AG lots should have the guts to approach neighbors and talk with them about plans and things...
That being said maybe they can work out side walks, rubbish can placement. etc...etc... hopefully they can have the school their with agreement of the residents on the street. Tho, that can only happen if the come together to discuss the needs and hopefully come to some sort of agreement.
