What DOESN'T grow in Puna?

Aloha, Glen. I had the same experience as Leilaniguy with corn, but have had good luck with beans and eggplant here in central HPP. Some types of squash do OK, but some don't. We have had very good luck with a vining Japanese squash we bought at Garden Exchange in Hilo. We don't like bell peppers, so have not tried them, but hot peppers thrive here.
