What DOESN'T grow in Puna?
#10
I have the Dorsett Golden Apple up here in Mountain View, it's still young but growing happily, got it from Paradise Plants and also a Florida Prince Peach. I have a couple kinds of lavendar that are growing vigorously and flowering lately with all the sun. I planted them in raised beds with a little soil, but mostly cinder, they don't like to get water logged. I've also had good luck with long beans. I just started some sweet peas and soybeans, so I'll let you know how they turn out. It sure is beautiful up here today! Smile Angela
