Aloha everyone,
Thanks for these tips. I greatly appreciate them.
I googled the one burner Coleman and I think it's cool and that is what I will get, or maybe two, they're small.
I have a two burner one. If it fits in my luggage along with all my other stuff, like sleeping bags, air matresses, and my solar lights, and whatever else I think of, I'll bring it.
I did forget about the refrigeration. That's another problem I'll have to deal with. Another thing I'd like to ask? Someone mentioned about being able to get fresh water along the road. Where is this located?
This is so neat reading about all these things that I don't even think to ask about. Like those mysterious bugs!
I will certainly be on the lookout for them and think before I do anything while I am there.
I wanted to mention that the land that I bought has a few cabins. One has a bathroom and another one I don't know what the inside is like.
There is also a greenhouse. It is plastic covered, but by now it may have come off.
I have no clue what to expect when I get there.
I am thinking I will bring my whisk broom and stay in the one cabin and I figure if someone was living there back in May, it can't be as bad as staying in a tent. I will probably have to fight my way through high grass and weeds to get to it.
I am getting so excited!!! I am collecting any and all ideas you guys may have to make this vacation comfy without spending a fortune for housing. I didn't want to be so far away from the land and have to drive everyday back and forth from a rental.

PS Is there any wifi spots in Hilo?
