This is one area where I wouldn't cut corners. Anyone can be a pinfinder, there are no licensing or regulations regarding this. Therefore, if they are in error you have no legal recourse. A licensed surveyor on the other hand is regulated and if they error they have to pay whatever costs are necessary to fix it. (i.e move a fence etc..) As John said I would not waste my money. In addition, I have heard that many pinfinders are now charging close to what surveyor's charge. Makes you wonder. Aloha, Angela
