Affordable French doors?
#4
Kathy, If you want prehung, in a fairly recent Lowes or HD ad, they mention outswing door available as an order (their order add a some to the cost & time frame, but not a lot). If you are looking to frame up the door yourself, you just need to get outswing hinge hardware (pins cannot be popped off) and leverset.
I have seem a couple prehung outswing doors on the HD discount racks over the years. We were able to get a couple of really nice FeatherRiver Fiberglass patios with custom glazing at HD (they are inswing)
Seems this order was shipped to Hilo by mistake...and they were very reasonable - close to what Brad paid.... So if you are not in a rush & frequent the home stores, you may get a fanatastic deal.... otherwise, ask at the millworks desk, it probably is only a little more than the inswing price
