Someone once jokingly suggested depositing 1,000 coquis on Harry Kim's lawn if we wanted a serious eradication project on the island, but this is the first I have heard of suspected intentional spreading. Chances are that this unknown vehicle was there for some other purpose such as thievery or making out, and the coquis just jumped off at that inopportune moment. In any case, it's not a bad idea to record plate numbers of cars in suspicious circumstances, just in case your lawn mower shows up missing later.
