Thorny barrier

Noel, bougies are very easy to propagate. Best luck we have had is to use non-flowering branches. Have used the stick it in the ground method with good results. We also yanked the monster one we had right up against the fence (NOTE: bougainvillia should never be planted right up against ANYTHING....they grow & grow &....we were pruning that buggah every couple of weeks & it still needed more trimming until hubby stapped) was poopped out of the ground, just a bit of tap root on the stump & we decided to pop it back into a much roomier area. It is back after, flowers are starting....less than a month ago it was a bare tap & stump nub....
