There is an important grain of truth in the article: MJ might make people quit their jobs.
I have come to the conclusion that the main distinction between legal and illegal drugs is this: illegal drugs are drugs that interfere with productivity or which do not grease the wheels of commerce.
Caffeine? Okay. Alcohol? Fine, good for business lunches, relaxes everyone just enough so that things get done. Elavil? Happy workers are productive workers?
MJ? Heck no, promotes lassitude and a relaxed approach to life.
I think that is where the line is drawn, very roughly: does it enhance productivity?
