Just a technical point, Cat! You know those of us in the profession -- can't see forest for the trees. John will remember the yellow house. It is three stories tall and unexceptional to look at from the outside, but the views inside of the ocean and even the surrounding area are breathtaking and the house is very well laid out. Concrete floors. The ocean views though -- wow. Very intelligently designed (by a human). Meanwhile, I feel Jerry's hot breath on my shoulder (which is not unpleasant) so I want to add this volcano update:
IT'S HEADING SOUTH. But really slowly. No threat. Here's how HVO puts it: "The other change was that the lower channel that had been feeding flows advancing east and northeast has now shifted toward the south and a flow may have reached the southern margin of previous flows. The seep-fed flow plodding along the southern margin is still going evidenced by occasional spots of incandescence.".
So, flow stopped going East (thank you!), nothing going on going North (thank you!), and just a little seepiness heading South (not bad!).
