Hawaii county rates (Helco) are just about $0.33/kW (or a little over 3X national ave.). To ask how much your bill will be would really depend on what you plan to have & how you plan to live.
When we moved, we looked at every single item that needed eletricity, that really helped us sort what things electrically to ship. In the over 2 years here, our bill has yet to go over $75/mo. A little over .5 years was in a 2 bedroom rental house near the ocean on catchment, with slightly older appliances, inc. all elec stove. For the last 1.5+, we have been totally gutting our 4 bedroom house, county water (no electric water pumping), no stove installed, but a huge Trio refrig (energy star) and a lot more electric tools & compressor than I hope we will have running daily SOON.
The biggies on electic use are any heating/cooling (stove, dryer, dehumidifier, AC) and running a pump (water or pool)
Also look at eliminating tube type monitors & tv's as they need a lot more eletricity to run. We also have power cutoffs on everything except the refrig., to minimize silent draws and have no incandescent lights - We are starting to get energy star & LED lights for the remodel.
