Yep... I did that myself... I got a state ID, and kept my oregon lic. I like it because it's cheap and you don't have to take a test or anything... You can renew online and they just send you a sticker to place over you other sticker!
I think I have 2 or 3 stickers on my ODL. Anyway, I own a property in oregon so I use that addy for my ODL.
Tho, I haven't registered my vehicle yet. It's almost been a year! Sigh.... Yeah...yeah.. bad me...bad me... Plates are still good and I got a safety that's still good. I guess I got to pay some sort of fine. I called em up and they said it was pretty cheap as long as the plates are still valid! key word "VALID"!
