Sailboats are the way to see whales. Main thing no prop in the water to cause damage, and in a sailboat, if you piss same off, he will remedy the situation on the spot. Whale self defense!
Granted power tours don't exceed the distance regs, if you drift from upcurrent, it's not your fault they get closer. How did the recent child get killed in a whale collision? The whale probably sank, and that wasen't even mentioned how the whale fared. Not the first time for Whale Foundation fleet.
Sailboats or jet power only, or else a ban will occur and everybody looses. An encounter of a 60' sperm whale in a 27' sloop is memorable!
