When i was there in like 1995 we had 7 of them on big island in 5 months the island is solid rock so they do hit hard, up in seattle the 6.5 i was inside a store and ran outside to watch all the telephone poles jump up and then sit back down like 20 feet in the air. looked down the parking lot and watched all the cars do the same. turned around and all the stucco on the building was cracking. A lady a little while later was crying her house had slid off the footings. dont mean to scare you next time just hold on tight.
