How open and tolerant should Punaweb be?

Rob, I just wanted to add my endorsement to those who have written in in support of the manner in which you conduct and monitor this forum. I'm sure there are others like me who have hesitated to post minority viewpoints rather than risk the ire of some who seem to have staked out PunaForum as their personal soapbox.

And just for the record, freedom of speech does not mean every publisher has to present every viewpoint...that's actually impossible, when you think about it. Freedom of speech (and freedom of the press) just means that everyone is free to express or publish their viewpoint, the government can't stop you. The beauty of the internet is that individuals no longer have to own a multimillion-dollar press.
