How open and tolerant should Punaweb be?

Since you asked, the forum is fine with its limitations. I read and participate to find and share information about living in Puna. I prefer not to read the diatribes and opinions that don't align with my philosophy; I've heard enough of them and life's too short. The current limitations do not filter out all that I don't care to read, but I am free to not read them and exercise my right to not respond. If some people need ultimate freedom to vent their spleen at opinions they don't agree with, they are, indeed, free to start up their own forum where they can let anyone post about anything, freely speaking their minds. And they can deal with keeping that forum alive and useful.

This forum has been fine with me. I've learned a lot, including more stuff than I care to about some. But that's life.
