Hi John,
I'm a Realtor here in Washington so I know about contingent offers. We aren't putting our home on the market here until mid April, and our Realtor is reluctant to write a contingent offer, as are we, when we aren't close to market yet. In Washington when you write a contingent offer, you must put your home on the market within 5 days if it isn't listed already. I don't know if Hawaii is the same, but we are willing to wait. We feel if the property was meant to be ours, it will be available when we are. If not, it wasn't the property for us. [
