The house was finished in 2005 but I am pretty sure we were the first full-time residents. So at the very oldest it is 3 years old. From what I have been told the integrated pressure tank has a much lower life expectancy because they are running anytime water is needed even if it is just a faucet trickling. As far as the pressure goes it works pretty good, though I don't have experience with the pressure tank system for a comparison. On another note, I have been told that I may require a pressure tank if I end up putting in a tankless water heater. If anybody can speak on the pros and cons of each type of pump that would be cool too.
