Mahalo, Dakine. Haoles have been know to swallow plums whole, too! But these plums are hard to get -- they have a life of their own and don't just wait around for you to eat them. I think they got the better of me. They definetely disturbed my sleep. Plum 1, Glen 0.
One thing I would really like to do is take a walk through an ohia forest when they are in bloom, so I can see the beautiful Lehua that Pele cruelly turned into an almost inaccessible flower. I don't think I have actually seen the ohia blossom. I have only seen pictures of it. It photographs very well.
