I have a funny cat story.
A few years ago, while living on Maui, we welcomed new neighbors. Well, the people who moved in weren't really friendly (and that can be good at times []) but their 2 long haired cats were VERY friendly.
We understood that their 2 cats were more inside cats than outside.. so IF the kitties were outside it was under strict supervision.
On more than on occasion - I would find Ollie, the honey colored long hair cat inside my house! He would follow my cat in and park himself anywhere he felt like it. Once, I stepped out of the shower to find him sitting in the basin.[:0]
This one afternoon, I had friends coming over to help us pack for the move to the Big Island. Leaving hubby and kids home, I decided to run to store to get drinks and snacks. On my way out of the driveway, I stepped out of my SUV to check the mail and then proceeded to Foodland.
$50 bucks later, I loaded groceries in the back and jumped in to drive home. I turned to see if the coast was clear to reverse out of parking stall... and there sitting patiently on the backseat was Ollie. I was startled to see him, but him.. had no care in the world.
I was going to stop at Minute-Stop for some Chicken, but decided to hurry home instead.
I got home.. everyone was there.. after some explaining.. I became known as the Cat-napper. [:I]
