Yurtgirl. Thank YOU... great idea to find some yurt rentals to find owners to get the good , bad and ugly on yurts.
I dont want to fianance a yurt the whole plan here is to pay cash for my land and yurt or other dwelling, Imagine if you had to be evacuated hmmmm I could pack up the whole darn house and go, I would like to be somewhat partially retired, If I dont have a mortgage and a salon to support, I could afford to only work part-time.
My partner and I are not going to move our horses but want enough land to get horses when we are settled on the big island,
and with a budget around a hundred thousand.
I think I could get 3 acres put up a yurt and get moved over....
AM I ONLY DREAMING>>>>>we will see.....

setting my soul free....

Your welcome lostboy, happy to have helped and have that help appreciated. With your stated budget you should have no problem reaching your goals to buy land and create a safe haven for you, your partner and a few horses, you would probably have money left over depending on the cost of your land. We've had a horse running around here in the Acres for months now, I guess a few of us can say we've got a 'part-time' horse for now! I was thinking of roping him and training him for some cheaper transportation, what with these rising gas prices and all!
(wink, wink)
A hui ho~
