Yurt spam? By who? A company? I'd be interested to know, that sounds shady, I'd put a call into the company.
David, I did step forward when Lostboy was looking for someone to speak with who had lived in a yurt. I'm not sure what you mean, but I tire of coming under fire here. I don't see the purpose it's serving except to somehow try to invalidate what I'm saying, however, the things I have said here are easy enough to research for anyone who is interested. As I've said, my aim is to have open discussion and tell what I have learned through my experiences with yurts. I lived in a yurt for over a year here in Hawaiian Acres with the aim to buy. I moved not quite a year ago because the man who owned the land jacked the price up substantially after I had made vast improvements. Not that I should have to explain my private affairs, but I will, so that more assumptions aren't added to this "stirred pot". The yurt I built for myself started with an agreement I had with a 'friend', whereby I would build a yurt with an addition on his vacant land. The owner of the property agreed that work and monies spent would be reimbursed or that it would be minused from the final price, however, the other party deemed that it was alright to raise the final price as I made improvements with no reimbursements made, so I made the decision to jump ship and start over, lesson learned. At this time I am working toward getting back into a yurt and I look forward to the day. I will say this now: I have been EXTREMELY forthcoming in this arena and have freely shared a lot of great information. I'm not sure what some of these issues are that are surfacing, seems not to have to do with yurts at all and why the incessant personal twists?
