I don't know if there are commercial parking lots nearby (in a hotel?) You could just park there and give the paid parking recipts to the landlord, to reimburse you for the 5 days. But, that might not be such a good idea if at about the same time you are negotiating a new lease or new rent.

Maybe it is time to up and move to Puna?
