JW, Your greens, cabbages, snow peas, & beans sound yummy! Count me in!
I haven't had any luck with greens or tomatoes - so far - but herbs really like it here and are thriving. Even though I'll be gone for a month, I don't think they're going to quit and will most likely be very ready to harvest when I get back at the end of June, and then throughout the summer.
I've got basil, oregano, rosemary in abundance.
Parsley, thyme, chayote just coming on; there will likely be extra for trade later.
And I'll be planting more when I get back from Idaho, of course.
Very interested in garlic, if anyone can plant extra. (Something gets to mine every time so far.)
And we can always use oranges, bananas, pineapple, etc, even papaya & avos until our trees get bigger. :-)
