Dear tgill,
I think you must have me confused with someone else. I didn't say any of the things you accused me of saying. You have read quite a bit into my little post. I only suggested that there might be a better way of doing things and voiced a hope that it could be found eventually and benefit all.
I know it is very radical to question anyone's property rights in the good ol' US of A. I think in a more Native American way--that we must think of everything in terms of 7 generations into the future and that no one really owns land. I believe that the Earth IS our Mother and we should protect Her. I think I have the right to voice my opinion.
I know that there are already rules and regs. Frankly, maybe some of them should be altered to make it easier to build.
I doubt that I, personally, will be writing any laws in Hawaii (or maybe even elsewhere), so you again have me confused with someone else. I would like to be part of the process, along with others--some of whom may have different ideas than I, but I doubt I will have the opportunity.
Calm down. I'm sure everything will turn out all right. Don't worry. I didn't mean to scare you.
Finally, I believe that Builders should be able to make a living, but not a killing.
