For an ulu I could start a couple cuttings or seeds for you! My friend has been wanting an ulu in the worst way and she could grow it in her backyard since I don't have much room in my yard.
This grape vine would probably come true from seed, but I'm not certain of that. It was started from a cutting so another cutting would be the most certain way to get more of it.
I have planted several other varieties of grapes in other places of the yard but they haven't been there long enough to produce grapes. The producing vine is about five years old and has been pruned back twice. Two years ago a friend from Napa came by and she helped prune it back which was a more drastic pruning than I would have done. The year after that it didn't have overly much fruit on it but this year it had loads until the chickens got about half the crop. I should either encourage the vine to grow higher (which makes picking the grapes harder) or fence the chickens out or plant enough grapes for everyone.
