Growing up in Central Mass we had 6th grade graduation (grammar school)and then 9th grade(junior high), both were celebrated with no parents, all for the kids and teachers. I played the violin in band with my new dress, mom made specifically for the 6th grade,[
] and she took before pictures. Most of the teachers took photo's and if we were lucky, and budgets allowed, were able to buy copies. All was fun and had by all.
