Just watched the Man vs. Food episode filmed on O'ahu. The thing that jumped out at me was the mention that the bluberries (in and on the 4-pound stack of pancakes he was trying to eat) were locally grown. I searched here for bluberries and found a few posts from this spring re high-bush bluberries from Walmart. Am curious to know how they're doing. Would love to get a bush or two next spring and try them here in upper HPP if they've proved successful in Puna. Blueberry progress report anyone? Mahalo.
