Has anyone successfully grown spinach?

I plant in soil in my green house. It too wet outside, spinach does not like so much water I think that is why hydroponics did not work. ( to wet)Any one wanting to see my set up give me a Email I am down on E in HPP. The paper towel may work, but damp not wet when in a covered area.
